Justice Movements, for the benefit of all people and all life."

An Open (Angry) Letter to United for Peace & Justice, A.N.S.W.E.R, et al,Veteran NY cognitive dissident Jolly Roger offers an eloquent personal amplification of Shaw's "Regulated Resistance" piece below. Once again the stubbornly timid anti-war leadership comes up for harsh review. - Ed.To whom it may concern: I writing to tell you that I will not be attending any more of your protest actions, and although that fact is admittedly insignificant, the reason behind it certainly isn't, because the reason is shared by hundreds of political activists, and millions of political dissenters. Much in the way that the mainstream media has become marginalized as a source of information, your organizations have become marginalized in the arena of political protest, and much for the same reasons.

9/11 Truth's 10th OKC Bombing Anniversary Report-backTwo short informative reflections on the media-buried truth shoot-out at the OKC corral - and some gratifying collaborative possibilities. See especially the excellent media archives here. - Ed.
Oklahoma Trip Report Delegates from 911Truth attended the Oklahoma City Bombing Investigation Committee's (OKBIC) convention commemorating the 10th anniversary of the April 19, 1995 bombing. They found startling similarities between the tragedies of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building and the World Trade Center. Both attacks have many common signs of federal government involvement and cover-ups.

Regulated ResistanceIs it possible to change the system when you are the system? By Charles Shaw Newtopia Magazine April 26, 2005 Newtopia editor and 9/11 skeptic Charles Shaw offers an incisive and overdue challenge to the suicidal "self-restraint" of the US anti-war leadership today. Why the repetition of timid and futile tactics? Why support corporatist pro-war Democrats? Why the fear and loathing to face up to 9/11 and the larger agenda in play? Mr. Shaw finally asks all the right questions and offers some very insightful answers, too. - Ed.In February of this year, United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ), a coalition of more than 800 peace and justice groups throughout the United States, held their second annual Assembly to hear and vote on proposals for a 2005 "action plan." With the war in Iraq fast approaching its second anniversary, and the larger "War on Terror" crossing its third and half year, close to 500 delegates from 275 member groups traveled to St. Louis in the hopes that the "anti-war movement"—which emerged with unprecedented speed and size just prior to the US invasion of Iraq in spring of 2003—could be resuscitated. Despite impressive beginnings, the movement as a whole has yet to make any significant impact on US policy, or achieve any lasting public resonance. More disturbing is the fact that since Bush's victory in November, it has gone completely MIA.

A Gradual AwakeningIt takes a long-term view to see our way out of this gloom. By Ken Jenkins 4-18-05 In this highly synchronistic counterpoint to the TVnewslies piece below, a great 9/11 videographer shares some patient wisdom that we all should hear and re-hear. - Ed.It was early 2005. It was a time of malaise, of vague apprehension, of depression, of disbelief, of foreboding and dread. It was the time after Bush&Co stole yet another election and we faced 4 more years of an ongoing, ever-darkening nightmare. It was long enough after the election to have moved beyond the shock and denial, but not far enough to have fully accepted and grokked our predicament, or to have the foggiest idea what the heck to do next. We wonder, wouldn't that other Iraq war supporter Kerry have been better than this? No. In the long run, things might have been worse.

Why Americans Refuse to Believe the 9/11 Evidence!!!Analysis by TvNewsLIES.org April, 2005 Couldn't decide whether this should be filed in the Fear or Movement section, because as a good vernacular statement of our dilemma as a nation and a movement it belongs in both. - Ed.The attacks of 9/11 were so unthinkable that most Americans would refuse to believe the complicity of their own government, even if presented with a mountain of evidence. Very simply, it is possible to escape blame if you do something that nobody in the world believes you could do.

All We Want Is the TRUTHBy Ward Reilly Excellent meditation on our truth-famished culture from a leading light of Veterans for Peace. - Ed. "If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." ????My friend Dennis Kyne wrote a song that we recorded together while he was staying at my home in January. He was in Baton Rouge in order to attend, and to speak at, the "Jazz Funeral For Democracy" in New Orleans, a counter-inaugural demonstration that activists from south Louisiana had organized. ????The song is called "All We Want Is the Truth."

Investigate 9/11 Warnings Cover-upWorking Assets Action Initiative Another milestone as 9/11 skepticism migrates toward the mainstream: an intelligent notice and action proposal from venerable activism clearinghouse, Working Assets. Please forward this widely to 9/11 lists, sites, peace groups, etc. - Ed.Despite repeated Bush administration claims that it had no inkling prior to 9/11 that terrorists might use airplanes in suicide missions on American soil, the New York Times reported that the FAA received 52 intelligence reports referencing Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda in the months before September 11. What's more, the FAA warnings were documented in detail by the bipartisan 9/11 Commission almost six months ago -- well before the November election. Over the objection of the Commission, the Bush administration classified this particular report and delayed its release.

Recent 9/11 Strategy Thoughts from Dr. David Ray GriffinDear 9/11 truth activists and concerned citizens, Below is an email exchange between Dr. David Ray Griffin and myself, where Dr. Griffin suggests a strategy for the 9/11 truth movement. I found it thoughtful as well as inspiring, and so I asked him if I could share it publicly. He said yes, and so here it is.

Response to Griffin's thoughts on strategyTo the 9/11 Truth activist community, A thoughtful reader's response to Dr. Griffin's approach to the challenges we face. – Ed.I began writing this letter before David Ray Griffith wrote his opinion on how the movement should proceed. Having just read his thoughts I am more convinced that I need to share my views. I read his first book on the topic, The New Pearl Harbor. Obviously I believe that he understands the problems with the official story. He was able to create a compelling account for someone who was interested in learning. However; I disagree that the strategy we should employ is to make our argument with evidence.
