We have found the famous "What Do I Do Now?" memo drafted by 9/11 Commission Executive Director Philip Zelikow on March 2, 2003. The memo advised staffers newly hired by the commission what they should do after starting work.

The memo was found by Erik at the National Archives and uploaded to the 9/11 Document Archive at Scribd.

Philip Shenon's The Commission highlighted the memo and one controversial section in particular. The section says:

Interactions with commissioners can be helpful to you and them. If you are contacted by a commissioner with questions, please contact Chris [Kojm, Zelikow's deputy] or me. Consulting with the Chair and Vice-Chair, we will be sure that the appropriate members of the Commission staff are responsive.

Everyone can remember the collapse of the World Trade Centres in New York in 2001, but not many can accurately recall that not two, but three buildings went done.

Tower 7, as it was called, collapsed in the afternoon of September 11th, 2001, but failed to gain notoriety because it was never hit by a plane, yet still it came down.

Which is exactly what troubles internationally respected architect Richard Gage, who's causing a stir in the USA for claiming that the buildings were instead destroyed by controlled demolitions with explosives.

From 3AM on Wednesday November 25, 2009, until 3AM the following day (US east coast time), WikiLeaks released half a million US national text pager intercepts. The intercepts cover a 24 hour period surrounding the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington.

The messages were broadcasted "live" to the global community — sychronized to the time of day they were sent. The first message was from 3AM September 11, 2001, five hours before the first attack, and the last, 24 hours later.

Text pagers are usually carried by persons operating in an official capacity. Messages in the archive range from Pentagon, FBI, FEMA and New York Police Department exchanges, to computers reporting faults at investment banks inside the World Trade Center.

The archive is a completely objective record of the defining moment of our time. We hope that its entrance into the historical record will lead to a nuanced understanding of how this event led to death, opportunism and war.

Some 9/11 widows who want to see a terror trial in New York today questioned why a group strongly linked to Liz Cheney is leading the charge in opposition to the trial.

Her father, after all, is the man many Democrats and liberals think broke the law in pushing for interrogation techniques now deemed torture by the Obama administration, and which were used on Al Qaeda plotter Khalid Shaikh Mohammed.

The anti-trial group is led by Debra Burlingame — whose brother piloted one of the doomed planes — and who is a guiding light at 9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America.

The 9/11 Families group had as a springboard Keep America Safe, a Liz Cheney vehicle where Burlingame serves on the board.

On the afternoon of Saturday the 21st in Wellington American architect and internationally acclaimed speaker Richard Gage addressed a captivated audience of around 630 people at Te Papa's Soundings Theatre. Gage presented evidence calling into question the official version of the events which led to the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings in New York on the 11th of September 2001.

The Hard Evidence Down Under 2009 Tour has nearly wrapped up, following events in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia and in Wellington, New Zealand. Every one of these events met with overwhelming success.

John Bursill, Principle Organizer of the tour, and his 'backup crew' made up of scores of dedicated, generous, passionate volunteers planned and executed a very significant series of events that resulted in the presentation of 9/11 truth information, in person, to approximately 1,200 people and along the way, radio interviews and news stories reached at least tens of thousands more. Kudos and much gratitude are in order to John, his wonderful, patient wife and family, to Helen in New Zealand who coordinated the Wellington event, and to the many volunteers who gave so much to make this important tour happen. Of course, sincere thanks go out, as well, to the event sponsors whose very generous financial contributions made possible travel from the United States by presenters Richard Gage, AIA, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Professor Steven Jones, emeritus professor of physics, founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice and co-editor of the Journal of 9/11 Studies, Cosmos, founder of TruthAction.org and the massive "Eleventh Day of Every Month Till Justice" campaign, Luke Rudkowski, founder of WeAreChange and Janice Matthews, Director of 911Truth.org and small business owner, so that we could present in Sydney. In addition, Ken Jenkins and hummux, of 911TV.org, were brought from the U.S. to record the proceedings and manage our sound production, with the help of an incredible lighting crew and volunteer camera operators who brought it all together. Sunday's event, which focused on the activism needed to propagate the hard evidence presented to an audience of about 220, including many professional architects and engineers on Saturday, also featured presentations by Ken Jenkins of 911TV.org and the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance, Hereward Fenton of 911oz.com and Truth News Radio Australia, and Dr. Frank Legge, Chemist, co-editor of Journal of 9/11 Studies who also manages Scienceof911.com.au. A panel assembled Saturday afternoon also included the participation of James O'Neill, practicing barrister in Queensland, who offered commentary on potential legal proceedings.

For this Midwestern U.S. chicken-farming Director, I would feel quite ungrateful if I did not share a few of the other personal highlights of this trip. We were given a day of relaxation in the midst of all the event preparations, for which I will honestly be forever grateful. I would surely never have been able to experience this beauty and personal renewal had it not been for the two generous individuals who sponsored my travel and the incredible kindred spirits who pulled this all together. ...

Development of a new executive order on classification of national security information is now proceeding at an accelerated pace in order to preempt a deadline that would require the declassification of millions of pages of historical records next month.

A revised draft executive order was circulated to executive branch agencies by the Office of Management and Budget on November 16, with agency comments due back today, November 23. A final order is likely to be issued by the end of this year.

There is an incentive to complete the development of the executive order before December 31, 2009 because of a deadline for declassification of historical records that falls on that date. Under the current Bush executive order, classified records that are at least 25 years old and that have been referred from one agency to another because they involve multiple agency interests are supposed to be automatically declassified at the end of this year. (See E.O. 13292, section 3.3(e)(3)).

Police are arresting and attacking student protesters on University of California (UC) campuses again. “Why did he beat me I wasn’t doing anything,” screamed a young Cal Berkeley women student over KPFA radio on Friday evening November 20. Students are protesting the 32% increase in tuition imposed by the UC regents in a time of severe state deficits. The Board of Regents claims that they have no choice. Students will now have to pay over $10,000 in tuition annually for a public university education that was free only a few decades ago.

The corporate media spins the tuition protests as if we are all suffering during the recession. For example, the San Diego Union Tribune November 20 writes, “These students need a course in Reality 101. And the reality is that there is virtually no segment of American society that is not straining with the economic recession. With UC facing a $535 million budget gap due to state cuts, the regents have to confront reality and make tough choices. So should students.”

Yet, the reality is something quite different. Our current budget crisis in California and the rest of the country has been artificially created by cutting taxes on the wealthiest people and corporations. The corporate elites in the US, the top 1% who own close to half the wealth, are the beneficiaries of massive tax cuts over the past few decades. While at the same time working people are paying more through increased sales and use taxes and higher public college tuition.

As Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the other alleged 9/11 conspirators go to trial, the corporate media's embargo on the truth about the Bush years will be under great strain.

Media commentary on the upcoming 9/11 trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has raised concern that state secrets may be divulged, including details about how the Bush administration used torture to extract evidence about al-Qaeda.

"I think that we're going to shine a light on something that a lot of people don't want to look at" is how American Civil Liberties Union attorney Denney LeBoeuf put it, according to The New York Times on Saturday.

No problem, says Attorney General Eric Holder, who claims to have "great confidence" that other evidence -- apart from what may have been gleaned from the 183 times Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded, for example -- will suffice to convict him.

Maybe so, But what the Fawning Corporate Media (or FCM) have so far neglected is the likelihood that the testimony will be so public that they will have to break their studied silence about why Sheikh Mohammed and his associates say they orchestrated the attacks of 9/11.

For reasons that are painfully obvious, the FCM have done their best to ignore or bury the role that Israel's repression of the Palestinians has played in motivating the 9/11 attacks and other anti-Western terrorism.

It is not like there is no evidence on this key issue. Rather, it appears that the Israel-Palestine connection is pretty much kept off limits for discussion.
