Many deeply concerned citizens of this Republic and the world have been engaged in tireless, multifaceted research and investigation about the events surrounding the 9/11 tragedy. These patriots have produced articles, essays, books and films that seek answers to the multitude of unanswered questions about this atrocity. Not having researched these questions myself and having no answers, when I have appeared before them I have encouraged the continuation of their valuable work as citizens of the Republic.

In their numbers are distinguished scientists, engineers, architects, professional people from all walks of life and families of victims who seek closure -- people for whose courage, determination, intelligence and steadfastness, I have boundless admiration. It was largely as a result of their efforts that a 9/11 Commission was established in the first place over the initial opposition of the Bush administration.

It was a secret of many Nato member countries. Underground armies were existing to fight in the case of a Soviet invasion in guerrilla fashion. The trails lead back into the 1950s - NATO is still blocking the facts.

The article goes in great detail into the history of Gladio, its connections with former german SS troops and plans to blow up bridges and other strategic infrastructures in case of an soviet invasion after WW2. The story the "Stay behind Army" was blown open in 1952 when members of the underground groups informed police and the scandal first made the news. This lead to a politcal uproar when it is revealed that a list of numerous well known german personalities exited who were planned to have been killed in case of an emergency situation. The list included communists as well as social democrats and the state interior minister of the german state of Hessen. Several people were arrested when the list was discovered. German chancellor Adenauer claimed to have not known anything about the activities at the time. The US High Commissioner Walter Donnelly claimed the group was about to be dissolved in the same month when the arrests occurred. The Süddeutsche Zeitung article then reports that after a ruling of the german constitutional court the arrested members were released in the same month.

Since 2003, hundreds between scholars, engineers, architects, political and religious leaders, lawyers, medical professionals, pilots, senior military and intelligence officers, firefighters, artists and media professionals from all over the world have joined him in his call for an unflinching investigation over the 9/11 attacks since, he maintains, the explanations provided by the Bush/Cheney administration are inconsistent and false.

Intro comments from Reprehensor, of 911blogger.com: I met John Hankey at John Judge's 2006 COPA conference in Dallas. I was at first skeptical of Hankey's conclusions; that the Bush Crime Family is tied to not only the assassination of JFK, but that JFK Jr. was also assassinated, with George Walker Bush in Hankey's sites as a suspect. After watching his presentation in Dallas, I was convinced that Hankey is a serious researcher, who raises some important issues. Although Hankey was not consulted for Russ Baker's new book, Family of Secrets, Baker covers some of the same ground regarding Poppy Bush and JFK. I asked Hankey to summarize his take on the Bushes, and talk about the newly re-edited Dark Legacy.

SAME KILLERS - DIFFERENT DAY by John Hankey - April 18, 2009

There are a number of important parallels between the 9-11 attacks and the murder of JFK: the stand down of the most basic defense procedures / the outrageous cover-up and destruction of evidence / and the last name of some of the major perpetrators. Obviously the Bushes were involved in 9-11. Less well-known and less obvious is the central role played by George HW in the Kennedy assassination.

It has taken 40 years to collect the evidence to hang Kennedy’s murder around Bush’s neck.

I began 9 years ago when JFK Jr.’s plane went into the sea; the Pentagon took over the news reporting, and then lied ridiculously, into the teeth of reporters who knew better, about why the search had been kept, for 15 hours, from what was immediately obvious was the crash site. Who would want JFK Jr. dead, and why? Lacking any credible evidence along these line, I decided to pursue a deeper look at the names of the people who had killed his father, as likely suspects in the murder of the son.

PETER'S NEW YORK, Saturday, April 18, 2009--U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-NY) said yesterday that while he was positively disposed toward a new investigation into the events of 9-11, his support for such a probe would depend on the form it would take.

Schumer, who was attending the launch of the Tour of the Battenkill annual bicycle races in Cambridge, New York, responded to a question regarding efforts in New York City to establish a new 9-11 investigation.

"I think it's not a bad idea," Schumer said. "You know, you've got to do it in a good way, but yes, I'd be for it."

Schumer qualified his remarks by noting that his support would depend upon the manner in which the investigation was structured. "I'd have to see the parameters of the investigation and all that," he said. He briefly mentioned "finding body parts," which may have referred to the discovery in 2006 that the roof of the Deutsche Bank building near the former site of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center was strewn with human remains from 9-11.

George Galloway MP had a New Yorker called Tom Feeley? on his Talksport radio show last night talking about 9/11 and with particular focus on the destruction of the Twin Towers and World Trade Centre Building 7. George opens the show explaining that he still holds Islamic extremists responsible but a chance meeting with this Tom guy in New York has planted seeds of doubt in his mind.

A new bill would give the President emergency authority to halt web traffic and access private data.

Should President Obama have the power to shut down domestic Internet traffic during a state of emergency?

Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Virginia) (202) 224-6472 - and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) (202) 224-5344 - think so. - On Wednesday they introduced a bill to establish the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor--an arm of the executive branch that would have vast power to monitor and control Internet traffic to protect against threats to critical cyber infrastructure. That broad power is rattling some civil libertarians.

The Cybersecurity Act of 2009 (PDF) gives the president the ability to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" and shut down or limit Internet traffic in any "critical" information network "in the interest of national security." The bill does not define a critical information network or a cybersecurity emergency. That definition would be left to the president.

MADRID (AP) -- Spain's attorney general has rejected opening an investigation into whether six Bush administration officials sanctioned torture against terror suspects at Guantanamo Bay, saying Thursday a U.S. courtroom would be the proper forum.

Candido Conde-Pumpido's remarks severely dampen the chance of a case moving forward against the Americans, including former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. Conde-Pumpido said such a trial would have turned Spain's National Court "into a plaything" to be used for political ends.

"If there is a reason to file a complaint against these people, it should be done before local courts with jurisdiction, in other words in the United States," he said in a breakfast meeting with journalists.

Spanish law gives its courts jurisdiction beyond national borders in cases of torture, war crimes and other heinous offenses, based on a doctrine known as universal justice, but the government has made clear it wants to rein in the process.

To All Those Who Agree We Can't Get 9/11 Truth Without the Internet!

We need to put pressure on S. 773. This bill has been introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and the first assessment of the language is alarming. Among other things, this legislation would give the President of the United States the authority to "shut down" the Internet during a "national emergency" without providing any specifics on what that means.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation describes the situation as follows:

There's a new bill working its way through Congress that is cause for some alarm: the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 (PDF summary here), introduced by Senators Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and Olympia Snowe (R-ME). The bill as it exists now risks giving the federal government unprecedented power over the Internet without necessarily improving security in the ways that matter most. It should be opposed or radically amended.

Essentially, the Act would federalize critical infrastructure security. Since many of our critical infrastructure systems (banks, telecommunications, energy) are in the hands of the private sector, the bill would create a major shift of power away from users and companies to the federal government. This is a potentially dangerous approach that favors the dramatic over the sober response.

One proposed provision gives the President unfettered authority to shut down Internet traffic in an emergency and disconnect critical infrastructure systems on national security grounds goes too far. Certainly there are times when a network owner must block harmful traffic, but the bill gives no guidance on when or how the President could responsibly pull the kill switch on privately-owned and operated networks.
