Japanese MP Yukihisa Fujita of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet of Japan (national legislature), spoke at the 9/11 Truth conference in Sydney today.
Mr Fujita is the single most important person to step forward to ask hard questions about 9/11 and the “War on Terror” this year.
Although the international conference is taking place in the centre of Sydney a stone's throw away from Sydney parliamentarians, not a single Australian MP is in attendance at this important event.

Many, deeply concerned citizens of this Republic and the world have been engaged in tireless, multifaceted research and investigation about the events surrounding the 9/11 tragedy. These patriots have produced articles, essays, books and films which seek to answer the multitude of unanswered questions about this atrocity. Not having researched these questions myself and having no answers, when I have appeared before them I have encouraged the continuation of their valuable work as citizens of the Republic. I have also advised these patriots to be wary of disinformation and provocative irrationality in their midst.
. . . Without doubt, Martin King would be in despair over what has transpired in his beloved native land. I also have no doubt that he would enthusiastically support this quest for truth about the atrocity that has shaken and drastically changed our world. He would remind us that truth crushed to earth will rise again and that we should never continue to mourn into passivity the loss of liberty and our loved ones –but organize.
I call on human beings within sight and sound of this message to rally behind this effort for a new investigation by an independent Citizens Commission. . .

Testimony in the Japanese parliament, broadcast live on Japanese television in January 2008, challenged the premise and validity of the Global War on Terror. Parliament member Yukihisa Fujita insisted that an investigation be conducted into the war's origin: the events of 9/11.
In a parliament Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee session held to debate the ethics of renewing Japan's "anti-terror law," which commits Japan to providing logistical support for coalition forces operating in Afghanistan, Fujita opened the session by stating, "I would like to talk about the origin of this war on terrorism, which was the attacks of 9/11, . . . When discussing these anti-terror laws we should ask ourselves, what was 9/11? And what is terrorism?"
Fujita pointed out that, "So far the only thing the government has said is that we think it was caused by al-Qaeda because President Bush told us so. We have not seen any real proof that it was al-Qaeda." He reminded parliament that twenty-four Japanese citizens were killed on 9/11, yet the mandate of a criminal investigation by the Japanese government never followed. "This is a crime so surely an investigation needs to be carried out," said Fujita (Censored 2008, #16).

John Leonard, who as far as I can tell is the publisher of Webster G. Tarpley’s book, 9/11Synthetic Terror, Made in the USA,posted a blog entry at 911blogger.com dated September 6th, 2007 and titled Tarpley's Rx for US 9/11 Truth Movement: Diversity and Civility in Discussion, Unity in Action. As you can see from the above quote attributed to Mr. Tarpley, he is asking the 9-11 movement to conduct themselves in a “business-like and respectful manner, without slander, without defamation, without ad hominem attacks on every page.”
I agree wholeheartedly with the above statement by Mr. Tarpley. I have been aware of the divisions within the 9-11 movement for years now and know that they have slowed our progress toward the truth behind the events of September 11th. We do need to come together around the best possible evidence we have and get behind the best researchers to keep propelling our 9-11 questions to the forefront of the public eye. So I was a bit surprised to find out that the very day that this article surfaced at 911blogger.com, Webster Tarpley was publicly attacking me, Cosmos, Col. Jenny Sparks, Jon Gold, and Arabesque on his radio program GCN World Report. In order to understand better what prompted this attack, it is important to step back in time and examine the circumstances surrounding the emergence of what is known as “The Kennebunkport Warning”, hereafter known in this article as the KW. It is also worth a look at Mr. Tarpley himself and what he believes and advocates.

Dear 9/11 Truth Seekers,
I regret that, due to the fact that I’m addressing an audience in Oslo tonight, I am unable to attend your United for Truth March here in Brussels. Nevertheless, I wish, by means of this written statement, to say a few words of encouragement and appreciation for your efforts.
The attacks in New York and Washington six years ago left the American people stunned and ready to agree to almost anything the Bush-Cheney administration proposed. At home, this has meant severe restrictions on civil liberties in the name of the so-called PATRIOT Act.
Abroad, we have had a so-called war on terror, which has really been a war of aggression against Muslims and a war for oil and domination in Muslim nations. This has meant six years of torture, humiliation, and the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people in Afghanistan and Iraq, people who were either innocent civilians or soldiers fighting against an immoral and even illegal occupation.
