Indeed, “it’s been a hard road,” as this song says, especially for those of us who have been walking it these many years. While we’re not to the end of it yet and must keep walking–indeed, redouble our efforts, creativity and energy–we have made great strides. We ARE the ones we’ve been waiting for.
