Take a moment to thank NYC’s WNBC for posting Giuliani’s confrontation with
the truth by a “radical” group at a Bronx fundraiser. (Ouch!) Not only did they report on it, they included video of the interaction, then found and posted Giuliani’s original “we were told that the World Trade Center was going to collapse” interview! Who knows, maybe
they will report more of the many lies told by America’s Mayor? Giuliani doesn’t
seem to remember that he had been told that the towers were going to collapse.
We can only hope that he will be asked whether he had said that the air quality at
Ground Zero was “safe
and acceptable” (“Poisonous Legacy of 9/11,” New Statesman). Video from 9/11/01 of Giuliani making that statement is available here.
