What did Cindy Sheehan do, exactly, to deserve the hostile reception she received from the many Democrats who criticized her?

She began to hold the Democrats to the same standard she held Republicans to. Once one does that, of course, very soon one will stop supporting the Democratic Party, and very soon the Party will stop supporting you.

Sheehan is a true patriot. No single US person has done more to call into question the justification for the attack on Iraq than she has. And she’s right about America. Right now it doesn’t want her help.
