Call for Articles for the December 2008 Issue
Deadline Thursday, November 13
The November issue of the Creek has "sold out" in record time. (View
it here) It is time to start putting together the next issue.
Rock Creek Free Press Wins Project Censored Award
First I wanted to let you know that the Rock Creek Free Press has
been recognized
by Project Censored for our coverage of one of the year’s 25 most censored
stories: "Japan Questions 9/11 and the Global War on Terror".
Since the very first issue, the Creek has covered the stories the
corporate press won’t touch including many of the stories highlighted by Project
Censored. I want to thank each of you for helping to make it possible. With
your help we will continue to provide the historical context and political analysis
of the news that can’t be found in any other publication. And we put it in print
on the streets in the Capitol City, where it counts.
I invite you to submit an article… it doesn’t have to be long (1000-2000 words
is ideal).
The deadline for article submission is 11/13/2007 (it is a week earlier than
usual because of the holidays.) Thank you in advance for you contribution to
"the Creek".
Sincerely,
Matt Sullivan

P.S. If you didn’t receive your copy of the Creek in the mail, respond
with your mailing address so we can get you on the distribution list.
