Marin on Saturday, September 11 that features speakers from diverse popular movements, plus a variety of humorists, artists, and healers—all converging around the mounting evidence that high-level forces within the U.S. government were complicit in the tragic events of three years ago. Speakers include noted authors and luminaries such as Jim Garrison (president, State of the World Forum), Medea Benjamin (cofounder of Code Pink and Global Exchange), bestselling investigative journalist Jim Marrs, and comedian Swami Beyondananda. The proceedings will open with a free 9/11 film festival on Friday evening, September 10. (The links below give complete details on the activities of the weekend.)
Under the conference theme of “birthing a new world through facing America’s shadow,” a series of independent researchers will share evidence that brings into serious doubt the validity of the 9/11 Commission Report as well as the Bush administration’s official story. The program will then transition into speakers who will address the need for systemic social and political changes in the light of these findings. A final emphasis toward late afternoon will be placed on healing and comedy, with several leading spiritual teachers, artists, and entertainers offering words of wisdom and humor. An interfaith group of ministers and healers will also be on hand for the event throughout the day.
In addition, author Jim Marrs will continue presenting “9/11 truth” on his West coast book tour, beginning with a 4-hour “9/11 Intensive” on the afternoon of September 12th, at the College of Marin, along with videographer/activist Ken Jenkins. He will next appear in two “9/11 Uncensored” evening events after that, one in Oakland with 9/11 researchers Jim Hoffman and Don Paul on September 13, and another in Los Angeles on September 14. At both of these events, the powerful new Barrie Zwicker film about 9/11 will be screened, entitled “The Great Conspriracy.”
