National Whistleblower Appreciation Day!

1169

The National Whistleblower Center is the nation’s leading whistleblower advocacy group. Founded in 1988, the National Whistleblower Center is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting those who blow the whistle on waste, fraud, and abuse.

The National Whistleblower Center believes it is important to change the culture of retaliation that often results in destroying whistleblowers’ careers. We need your help in establishing July 30th as National Whistleblower Appreciation Day.

Over the last few years the National Whistleblower Center has worked to build bipartisan support for the issue of whistleblower protection. On February 25, 2015, Senator Chuck Grassley announced the formation of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus; a bipartisan coalition of Senators that will work to ensure whistleblowers in all sectors obtain meaningful protections.

We feel that the formation of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus has created a momentum to support whistleblowers and push for July 30th to be recognized as a permanent day honoring whistleblowers.

The National Whistleblower Center approached Senator Charles Grassley in 2013 and asked for his help in establishing July 30th as National Whistleblower Appreciation Day.  He was successful in getting the resolution passed by unanimous vote.
Senator Ron Wyden, who is the Vice-Chair of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus, joined Grassley in his efforts to pass the resolution again in 2014.
Please join the National Whistleblower Center in urging Congress to make July 30th National Whistleblower Appreciation Day.

Help us to advocate for the recognition of July 30th as a day to show whistleblowers the appreciation they deserve for their sacrifices to our country by making a tax-exempt donation earmarked for this campaign. Donations of $25 or larger will receive a copy of The Whistleblower’s Handbook as a gift.

Thank you for your continued support!

Whistleblowers display profound dedication to their companies, universities and agencies, however they are often viciously retaliated against because they are perceived to be disloyal. For this reason, the National Whistleblower Center has made the creation of a National Whistleblower Day one of its key objectives.

Join our campaign for the creation of a National Whistleblower Day by signing and sharing our petition to Declare July 30th National Whistleblower Day!

Since 2004, 911Truth.Org has educated the public about the suppressed realities of the September 11 attacks.

We worked with the 9/11 Families to pressure the Bush administration to convene an investigation into the deadliest attacks on US soil since Pearl Harbor. We attended many of the commission hearings and questioned commissioners and bird-dogged elected officials to get answers to the Unanswered Questions that remain so to this day.

We reported the contradictions, lies and omissions on the public record. 911Truth.Org staff have given hundreds of interviews on radio and mainstream network TV.

We cover a wide range of 9/11-related issues in publishing academic papers, original research, and opinion pieces.
