Weekend events in Denver and Boulder Colorado proved to be successful on many levels. The events sponsored by Colorado 9-11 Visibility and 911truth.org, 9/11 Research; Why the Official Story Cannot Be True, brought Scholars for 9/11 Truth Steven E. Jones, Kevin Ryan, and Kevin Barrett to town with the aim at bringing heightened awareness and visibility to the 9/11 cover-up. It appears that Colorado 9-11 Visibility has done just that earning a front page story in the Denver Post.
Dear Media,
Within the last few months, you've given a lot of attention to the 9/11 Truth Movement. In rare circumstances, we've even gotten a "fair shake."
However, your guests have consisted of Dylan Avery, Corey...
Having won his initial battles with rightwing censors in the Wisconsin legislature, 9/11 truth champion Kevin Barrett continues to stoke illuminating controversey at the university and in the local press. This Sunday Kevin and Scholars for 9/11 Truth colleague James Fetzer again convulsed the UW campus under the poetic auspices of the UW folklore department.
The Badger Herald, "the largest fully independent daily campus newspaper in the nation," seems clearly torn by the issue, running sympathetic coverage of the event as their lead story today, but simultaneously attacking it in a sniffy editorial which we include at the end. UW's other campus rag, The Daily Cardinal, was even cuter, running Barrett's photo on the front page with just a terse caption, "UW-Madison lecturer Kevin Barrett delivers a seminar discussing Sept. 11, 2001 Sunday in Social Sciences. The lecture was taped by the British Broadcasting Corporation." Kevin's truth-telling again took on statewide implications when the lawmakers campaigning for his dismissal heard about the BBC taping and renewed their howl that Barrett be silenced and fired. To be continued (we pray...)
Here we go again! Welcome to an oddly identical reprise of Kevin Barrett's 9/11 free speech ordeal in Wisconsin, but this time
with a tenured professor in "Live Free or Die!" land. Let us hope that Dr. Woodward is as comfortable and skilled with his 15 minutes of beleaguered fame as was Mr. Barrett.
PS: The Manchester Union Leader is often cited as the most conservative paper in America, yet they ran three of the hardest hitting 9/11 truth ads ever published right before the 2004 presidential primary. In that regard they do respect free speech, at least if you're willing to pay for it.
