Obama restores some of the ‘Freedom’ to FOIA

The series of articles recently about President Obama's order to 'open the gates' to greater transparency, is being posted because it helps shed light on where we've been, where we are now, and where me might get in pursuing release of information pertaining to 9/11 and its consequences. This order comes two weeks after the 9/11 Commission materials have been made available--albeit much of it redacted--to the public by the National Archive. We've spent 7.5 years trying to get information and answers... what more might become available to us now, in light of this change? Time will tell. One thing's for sure -- we have many FOIA requests to file!

ISRAEL, STOP NOW!!! US gives Israel free reign on whether to invade Gaza

No, we have not digressed into "yet another" progressive news site. The situation in Gaza at the moment is a dire emergency, following years of gravely worsening conditions. Because the US continues to fund Israel to the tune of Billions of dollars a year of our money (i.e., in OUR name!), and because today "we" gave them carte blanche approval to essentially annhilate the PEOPLE of Gaza, after last week "we" vetoed a UN Security Council Resolution calling for a ceasefire, we feel it is important to post information you don't find at corporate TV or newspapers.
